OCCH Celebrates 20th Anniversary at Annual
Partners Luncheon

Partners Luncheon

Ohio Capital Corporation for Housing (OCCH) celebrated its 20th anniversary at its annual Partner Luncheon May 27th at the Columbus, a Renaissance Hotel. Over 600 affordable housing partners came together for the event which recognizes the many investors, developers, lenders, management companies, nonprofit organizations, for-profit organizations, and government entities that partner with OCCH in the development of affordable housing.

The purpose of the Partner Luncheon is to celebrate what OCCH and its partners have accomplished together. Since 1989, with the assistance of its partners, OCCH has raised over $1.5 billion in equity and financed more than 20,000 affordable housing units in over 400 developments. These developments consist of lease-purchase housing, permanent supportive housing for the homeless, senior housing, rural housing, historic rehabilitation projects, and public housing redevelopments.

OCCH was pleased to welcome Joseph Hagan, the Executive Director of OCCH in 1989 as a special guest at the luncheon. Mr. Hagan is the current CEO & President of the National Equity Fund, Inc (NEF).

Hal Keller, President of OCCH, recognized the investors in the Ohio Equity Funds and their commitment to affordable housing. He also recognized partners in the public sector, including the Ohio Housing Finance Agency, The Ohio Department of Development, the U.S. Department of HUD, and the Ohio Rural Development Office for their continued leadership in housing.

OCCH is grateful of its partnerships with investors, public and
private lenders and the affordable housing development
community. Because of these partnerships, we have had a
successful twenty years fulfilling our mission.
