CPO Residents Selected as 2nd Place Winners in the NAHMA Regional Poster Calendar Contest!

Poster Contest Winners

Four Community Properties of Ohio (CPO) residents were selected as 2nd place winners at the regional Midwest Affordable Housing Management Association (MAHMA) level of the NAHMA annual poster contest. This year’s theme was My Hopes, My Future, Healthy Minds and Healthy Bodies.

CPO entered 15 posters in this year’s contest and held two neighborhood events in April (Near Eastside Pride Center) and May (Michigan Avenue School) to give opportunities for CPO residents to create posters for the contest. School age children and seniors participated in the contest.

CPO is proud of all the residents who participated in the contest. Those second place winners receiving a $250.00 savings bond are Liyah Reid, K-1st grade level; Honesty Johnson, 2-3rd grade level; Aisha Crafter, 4-6th grade level; and Deborah Houtchens, Senior level, resident of Cambridge Arms.

Allen Lewis, CPO property manager, was excited to share the good
news with his residents and celebrate with them. “CPO congratulates
the contest winners and all those who participated in this event, “said Lewis. “This contest provided a great opportunity for all residents to
come together and celebrate their hopes, futures, minds, and bodies through art.”
