Asset Management Briefing OCCH Staff Designations      

 

OCCH Employees Receive Industry Designations

Housing Credit Certified Professional (HCCP)

Five OCCH employees recently received their HCCP designations.  Created by the National Association of Home Builders (NAHB) and jointly endorsed by the Institute of Real Estate Management (IREM), the Housing Credit Certified Professional (HCCP) is a specialized designation for developers, property managers, asset managers, and others working in the affordable housing industry. Congratulations to the following staff:

Jacalyn Slemmer and Chris Ledwin, Asset Managers at OCCH, achieved the Spectrum Training Award Recipient (S.T.A.R.) designation for the Rural Development 515 Program by completing the extensive two day training sponsored by Spectrum. 

Nonprofit Housing Management Specialist


Janice Rausch, Junior Asset Manager and Chris Ledwin, Asset Manager, completed the Nonprofit Housing Management Specialist (NHMS) course offered by the Consortium of Housing and Asset Management (CHAM).  The intensive five-day course is designed for property managers, community development corporation staff, and directors of property management and is one of the required courses for the CHAM designation.

Jacalyn

Jacalyn Slemmer, an Asset Manager at OCCH, recently completed the program of study required for the Consortium for Housing and Asset Management (CHAM) designation.  CHAM is a collaboration of the leaders in the fields of nonprofit affordable housing production and community development. The Consortium is comprised of Enterprise Community Partners, the Local Initiatives Support Corporation, and NeighborWorks® America.

CHAM created an elite Asset Management program of study which requires the completion of six courses. Participants who complete the entire program and submit their final project receive the Certified Housing Asset Manager (CHAM®) designation from the Consortium.
