Lake Towne Senior Village Holds Grand Opening Ceremony

January 21, 2008 marked the grand opening of Lake Towne Senior Village, a nine building, 43 unit single-story elderly housing development in Lake Township, Wood County. These newly constructed attached houses are designed to a high level of energy efficiency; incorporating features such as wall and ceiling insulation, universal design options, and water saving plumbing fixtures.

Lake Towne Senior Village has easy access to shopping, employment, entertainment, social services and public safety services. Lake Towne Senior Village is managed by MV Residential Property Management, Inc. Developers of the project include ALG Development, LLC and WSOS Community Action Commission. Ohio Capital Corporation for Housing served as equity syndicator for the project.

Speaking at the grand opening were: Gerald B. Arnott, Housing Program Director, Rural Housing Services; Marc Cameron, Regional Director of Operations, MV Residential Property Management, Inc.; Neil McCabe, President and CEO, WSOS Community Action Commission; Richard Welling, Lake Township Trustee; Tony DiBlasi, Chief of Asset Management, Ohio Capital Corporation for Housing; and Gene Harrison, Resident of Lake Towne Senior Village.
