Ohio Capital Corporation for Housing Resident Development Fund / Applications Now Being Accepted

Applications for the Ohio Capital Corporation for Housing Resident Development Fund are now available on our web site ( www.occh.org ).  The Resident Development Fund is an innovative, flexible funding system that allows sponsors to design programs to help residents live more satisfying and productive lives.  For 2009, we are pleased to announce:

The Ohio Capital Corporation for Housing Board of Directors has $300,000 available  for 2009
Programs are especially encouraged in the following areas:
  High speed internet access
  Tutoring
  Scholarships to Summer Camp programs
General Category – As in the past, The Resident Development Fund also supports other activities and acquisitions designed to improve the living environment of OCCH portfolio properties and increase residents’ ability to live more satisfying and productive lives. Activities and acquisitions directed at senior citizens, young people, lifelong learning and household stability are encouraged.

OCCH FourSeasons

All grants are made on a competitive basis. Identifying outcomes and measuring the effectiveness of the programs will be an important consideration in awarding grants. Applications for 2009 must be submitted to OCCH by April 17, 2008, or September 11, 2009.
